Tuesday nights I am usually kicking myself for forgetting it’s the one day a week I can get local eggs for only $4. Clifford Farms (801.368.7250) from Provo, UT has a little house set up at 1352 South 400 East from 2:30-7pm once a week until the Farmer’s Market begins. And being that the glorious market doesn’t start until June 11th, I thought maybe my SLC mates might want to know this great little fact. The same eggs can also be found at Tony Caputo’s on Saturdays where they let local artisans and growers sell their products – when I’m sadly working – or at Liberty Heights Fresh (but it’s like $4.85 and I don’t got that kind of money). It may already seem like a load of money to spend on eggs, especially when they are conveniently 99 cents at your nearest grocery store, but it’s well worth it. These eggs are each twice as big and hundreds times more loved in the process of becoming eggs. Plus it helps keep this small organic farm in business. Just sayin.

While we are on the topic of food, I have longed to start another blog fully dedicated to food. Yes, more specifically vegetarian meals, but there would be recipes or meals from restaurants all over. Does that seem like something you’d read and enjoy? Because it’s on my to-do list.
